Would the standard 15inch wheel fit
-
The standard wheel is 16" I think. I think it squeezes under 16s, not sure about 15s. :undecided:
-
fits under 16" steels, just! dont think it would fit 15's.
-
My 350mm porsche set up could fit under 16" with abit of shaving so I would think 312mm would fit under 15"
-
312mm brakes do not fit beneath 15" rims. You need 16" minimum and even then you may need to shave the calipers slightly depending on the type of rim and offset.

There must be a pubic hair's gap between the caliper and wheel
Your disks would be 13.8" and 16" wheels are less than 16" on the inner most of the band. Cutting it a bit close

I'm not running them but i did manage to get 16" on them but there was about a mil gap between the caliper and the rim

the porsche caliper will be a lot thinner on the lip of the disc than the big cast vw item

312mm's need 16" or bigger even then some 16"'s are a tight fit.
