Alright gents?! (and ladies) New to the site, currently on golf number 4, previously owned a mk2 cabriolet, mk2 gti and a mk5 gti edition 30. Just gone and bought myself a jazz blue mk4 gti 1.8t AGU. It seems the previous owner decided to cover it in superglue and ram raid his nearest halfords. So I'm in the process of returning it to oem spec at the moment, well, with a few tastefully done mods of course! Engine wise its pretty standard, just a forge 007p DV and an extremely badly fitted aftermarket exhaust. So any tips and tricks I should know? and what should be my first port of call tuning wise?

Here's a photo of the little fella in my workshop after getting rid of the 16" wheels and replacing them with old rs4/tt alloys, Also prior to taking this pic I had removed the chav-tastic front grill (now in the bin) and remedied a few electrical faults.
