the chrome lip on my bbs alloys are starting to corrode, is there any easy way to fix this?
-
The polished alloy lip you mean ? Elbow grease or wheel refurbishment, you decide.
-
how would i get it back to a polished finish ?
-
Ideally you need to seperate the centres ,sand the corrosion off ,machine polish the alloy and recoat with a quality lacquer.
-
Or paint it silver, so less maintence in future
-
Or powdercoat it silver, so less even maintenace in future
Mine were refurbed (powder coated) 10 years ago, and still look like new.
