Title: OCD badge placement

Want to know if some could help me, I wana know where the 16v badge on the front was from the factory, and how far across the grill?

This is where I have put it currently

I'd say in the middle of the grille between VW badge and headlight would look better, bu tmines in the same place roughly.....

At first i prefered it where yours is now but more to the right then i went to the opposite side , then got bored with it and gave it to another forum member,but to answer your Q. id say about where it is now

Speak to Glen (ess three) he has had a 16v from new so can confirm 100% where it should sit.

you dont need to ask anyone

theirs lugs in the grill, on the right hand side in the middle slat, take a look.   the lug on the badge fits into it to stop the badge moving down the slat adn keep it in its correct place

I didn't know how it came off so took grill off to find that it clips on in the lugs
