so gonna do relay test tomo number 167 and 30. Also clean the throttle. Might port and polish too.

anything else?

only stalling when warm now and then. Saves it self most times. Think the cam doesn't help

defo them relays & the throttle body. if its still happening then get diagnostic onto it?

I just changed my camber shims. Now indoors changing into dry clothes  :grin:

Replaced 30 and 167 (without testing) today. I drove past eurocarparts and thought I would get them regardless of knowing the fault and car seems to be fine. Hasn't dropped below 800rpm once.

Have you got the Eurocarparts product code for relay 167, their website is most unhelpful and I want to order one tomorrow (no store nearby)

IMO its best to buy the relays from main dealer.

It was vw's poor cost saver quality that started all the relay issues.....  :huh:

Yea but that was the original fit - the new buy now are much better quality

Had my VW dealer item fitted since I been on here so thats over 6 years I think, without checking!

Correction - joined May 2004 so thats 8 1/2 years!
Will have had my Golf 10 years in February! :grin:
