Nothing. it shouldn't be doing it.

If you're talking about compressor stall, which people commonly call 'chatter', then I think you're bang out of luck with a soot chucker.

if you're wanting the actual waste gate to chatter, then it'll more than likely have to be broken to do so.

Sorry mate.

Diesels don't have a waste gate.

its my first diesel and im not sure what i can and cant do with it. I know it makes me sound like a child but i love the noise. I had a passat estate 1.8t pass me today and its was chattering away through the gear changes and it made me smile abit.(like i said a child). Is there no possible way of doing it? As much as that fake sounded alot more impressive than i would have thought im not bothered but thanks for the suggestion

I have a decat, well, the OEM pipe and cat which has been cut open, scrapped out and then welded back together and I don't get the noise. The miltek DP does make the noise

I want a sports cat on mine but not keen on the owl noise  so guess it will have to be a new OEM one?

f**k a sports cat. Just rid of it totally. Miltek on on egay, about £160 I think. Direct fit, and definite increase in MPG and performance!

I dont think you can actually get a sports cat for a diesel!!

Diesels dont need a cat to pass an MOT

Owl noise is cool. Had it on the MK4 and now on the Aldi

my 110 didnt do it ive chopped the cat out totally stripped and cleaned the vnt on the turbo replaced all vac pipes and i had a straight pipe with no backbox (now removed) it whistled like a trooper but no owl noise  :undecided:

i have 0 faults on vag com

theres loads on you tube with the noise so it left me stumped ive put my backbox back on now and just run it with straight pipe without a cat
