Title: coolant sensor
Post by: nu99et18 on 22 November 2012, 22:28
Hi, have a 1.8t aum in my mk2 with oem loom/ecu and mk2 clocks, my problem is that the engine temperature over reads, the needle goes straight to the middle once started and once warm it looks like its constantly overheating which it isnt, i have done some research into it but cannot get a definate answer, the most convincing seems to be that i can fit a mk3 abf coolant sensor which should work with the mk2 clocks and the aum ecu. Is this true?
Cheers
