Title: Rear axle bushes problem.

I`m replacing my rear axle bushes and there is a pressure regulator (mine does not have abs).
I have to take the regulator off to get the bolt out that goes through the bush and axle,the regulator is in the way.
The problem is the retaining screws that mount the regulator to the axle are alen head and they wont budge and I am afraid that if I use too much strength I`ll ruin the heads.:cry:
Has anyone done this before and can give me some advice  ?

Spray loads of plus gas on them first.

And search for rear brake caliper removal. Same thing and been covered a lot

l tried that and I did do a search before I posted.
An idea came to me I`m going to grind a groove into them and screw them out,and I will be replacing them with normal bolts.
I cant see any other option.

Allen heads are industry standard, they fail because people use cheap arse allen keys in them :grin:
Loads of plus gas, clean out the socket use a good key and make sure you are true and square to it before applying torque.
If it is mashed up or you mash it up then follow the threads as stated.
