im rebuilding some calipers i got the pistong out the dust cover & piston seal, got the bleed nipple off & the hand brake lever bolt. thing is now how on earth do i remove the circlip thats at the bottom on the caliper (its at the bottom of the piston bore) now does anyone know which circlip removal tool will do the job? as the ones i have used are too short.
any help?

Ive not seen the offending article but wouldn't some long nose circlip pliers get down inside the bore ?
-
i tried that. its not as easy as you might think. you cant use any long nose pliers. you need the circlip ones & they have to be long & thin. i found loads at work but they are either short or fat & wont go down the bore
