Title: Machine polisher
Post by: Ginge 35Edition on 20 November 2012, 20:24
My bro has just bought an Audi 80 2.8 v6 cabriolet as a mid life crisis car and I've told him I'll help him detail it. So I intend to buy a polisher to give it a proper going over.

The ones I've looked at include sonus or menzerna products. Can anyone comment on these or recommend a different kit. Waxamomo are out of stock by the looks of it so another supplier too would be appreciated. My budget is £150 inc postage. Ideally I'd like products that can b used on his project and my mk6.

Cheers

Neil

Ps sorry if this has been asked a million times!

Will do mate, great package so bought myself a buffing pad for my motor. Pics to follow, can't wait to be let loose on bros cab. It's already in his double garage ready for clay baring on Friday night then polish and buff on Saturday. The engine bay is spotless so that'll just need a dressing.

Thanks guys. In my brothers typical style he's not happy with a couple of the little marks so he's already thinking of having the leather retrimmed and full car respray. So in my typical style I'm persuading him to put some more modern 18" on it.

That would be just wrong, the wheels that are on it suit the age of the car just fine. You wouldn't be putting 17's on you Mk2. Would you???
