Well, as the title suggests, anyone tried one?
As far as I understand it really does make a difference. Where can I find one in Europe? :undecided:
I've found plenty in the US, but shipping costs are pretty high and they take ages to arrive .

Not worth it on standard cam. Maybe if you changed the camshaft. I have in mine and want a adjustable cam gear. Mine needs a little retard, half a tooth I think.
Try this

Thanks for the help
Ok, so an adjustable cam gear calls for an aftermarket camshaft. Again, same problem, I can't find them in europe

That's a European site. Search for what they used

Hope you're right :undecided:. That would be great. Although, I read some stuff on the site and they appear to be from the US :undecided:. They offer aftermarket stuff for the 2.0 ABA and most of the cutomer reviews are from people in the US. Anyway, I'll send them an E-mail and see if they can help me out. Thanks alot for the assistance!

Not really needed unless your running a uprated cam and other mods.

NGPracing seems to be from the US  I'm not willing to pay in the region of 300$ for shipping.
Any other ideas? How come there are so few european tuning shops that have stuff for the 2.0 8v engine?
-
Because the 8v engine is sh!te. Most people tune the 16v or the vr6.
Now days people put the 1.8 20v turbo engine in the mk3 golf.
You can spend a lot of money on the 8v engine to get same bhp as a stranded 2.0 16v engine and the 2.0 16v (abf) engine is a lot cheaper option.

Well, legislation is different here. So, I'd rather just tune this one up than spend all that money on paperwork an omologations. Anywhom, any info is welcome

Legislation where?
-
Romania. Still in the EU so not that far away. I guess if a store can send to the UK, it can also send to Romania, so any info is welcome
