Title: Few probs with my mk2 16V!

Apart from the fact my accelerator pedal seems really stiff which i'll try fix tommorow i'm getting a petrol smell in the car : (

The MFD MPG says somthing daft like 10 all the time..the MPH isn't accurate if it's meant to be.

Dosn't seem very quick either! Mind you i've just sold my WRX scooby so it aint going to be but it seems a bit flat like it's strangled a bit.Will do a full service on it soon and see what's what.

Any ideas people?

buy a new accelerator cable.

your car might just need setup correctly

I'll get a new cable mate cheers :) They hard to fit?

Time for a good service and tune then i think!

Is the clutch meant to be stiff too???

cables are easy enough to change. changing the clutch cable might be an idea also!

Thanks mate :) Ordered the throttle cable so will get a cltuch one when i can,
