this occurred to me today trying to lift my car with a trolley that now doesn't fit under the sills even! what is your driveway technique for jacking?!
-
2 planks of wood - drive on, jack fits
or,
low entry jack
-
Or in my case 2 scaffold planks and a low entry jack
-
Widow maker then a normal jack once high enough
-
Get a mate to pull on the arches and lift the car then slide jack under
-
With great looks comes great agony.

yep! managed to use the crap spare wheel jack to jack up the BACK so i could get a trolley under the FRONT lol. I'm thinking of hanging a big magnet from the ceiling and turning it on when i want to get under the car
-
I always used to drive onto wood then jack up.

Wood or bricks as previously states. or if i have a mate get them to lift the arch
-
Use wood like Tweed suggested, there's never any need to have a mate lift your car by the arches.
