This is going to sound daft to most people but im a novice when it comes to turbos and intercoolers.

Thanks in advance

To connect charge pipe to top of turbo a 51mm silicone pipe is needed, whether it's a 63mm to 51mm reducer or 51mm depends on the rest of the charge pipe you are doing.

you have to use a 46mm silicone hose, if you use a 51mm it is very loose on it.....
there is a thread with all this info just below you got the answers there!! :lipsrsealed:
-
Sorry but the outer looks like 51mm to me :S

A 51mm pipe is needed
-
it is!!! but when you put a 51mm hose on, it just slips on, that 51mm is the beaded end, so you want it tight over this.
the forge 5 piece hose kit comes with the turbo pipe, and this is 46mm for the turbo side.
you want it to be snug down the shaft but tight around the rim, no leaking
I KNOW I TRIED IT LAST NIGHT AND HAVE NOW SENT THE PIPE BACK
but do as you want and dont ask in future!!!! let me know how you get on

Thanks again guys for all ur help :)

Sure my 51mm one worked fine. More of a issue getting it to sit right as OEM hose isnt a direct 90degree, its offset a bit,

Silenced and unsilenced have different pipes too due to them being slightly different OD too
-
Same part number strangely.!

That was going to be my next question.
So silenced and unsilenced are diff sizes also.
In theory would be better to try order a straight 51mm as my pipe work is 51 mm,then also order a smaller 46mm-51mm reducer so I've covered both angles.
Does anybody no the inlet/throttle body size??
-
Chris the 90 degree pipe is the same part number but the suffix letter is different. Silenced version comes forward slightly to meet the metal boost pipe. AGU/ARZ/AUM are all the same, AUQ has the different pipe

Throttle body pipe needs to have an Internal diameter of 63mm
