Since I bought my GTI :smiley:

Still the perfect car in my view, I'm dreading the launch day of the mk 7 GTI.
My bet is still May 22nd.

Mk7 has given me a reason to hang onto the Mk6 a while longer - nothing out there beats it £4£

I love mine to pieces but i'm looking forward to thrashing a a demo mk7 with a view to ordering one!

I've had mine since June 2009 now, so 3 years and 5 months and other than the the silly alarm setting issue two years ago it's been faultless. Touch wood! Still love it and the only reason I've not modded it is that I've been paying to sort the Mk2 out so can't afford it. Fantastic car and every time I start to think and look at what I'll get in 3 years time I always gravitate back to the Golf Mk7. It actually might not be too badly priced since most things I got as options on the Mk6 will be standard on the 7. Unless of course the base price is silly which, knowing VW, is eminently possible!

Wish mine had been as good an experience as everyone else's here.  :cry:
I was so loooking forward to coming back to VW brand ownership after defecting to owning a series of reliable SEATs.
But sadly the experience of the last two Volkswagens has put me off owning another.  :undecided:

I have been an avid VW fan with 4 previous GTI,s but this MK6 is proving to be a nightmare. Really not sure if ill be having another.
