-
clutch, got for solid mass, maintenance sec has all you need in it  i'm getting a sachs kit from the bay and a mate will fit it for £100, looking at under £360 all in but was qouted by my reg mech £460 for the same clutch kit
-
thanks mate ill check that section out
i would look at upgrading it but at the moment the cars running completely standard and im working on a bit of a budget with Christmas coming up and tax due end of this month :undecided:. Ive found a replacement kit on ebay for £120 so think ill be going that route for now just to get myself back on the road

Is that £420 supply and fit?
-
Go for g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch mate. Thats all set up you will need
-
Seems abit pricey, I paid, £333 from ECS for a single mass flywheel with a weight reduction to 14lb over the stock 21lb dualmass system and that had new sachs clutch, bolts and alignment tool all included. Mechanic charged me £100 for the job including new gearbox oil, direct fit and no messing about. Much lighter clutch pedal and its lovely to drive compared to DMF, my only worry was it might be too light and jerk abit, but this is not the case.

I have a 5 speed solid mass flywheel and clutch for sales.

Whats the difference. This one coped with 300lbft fine. Then ran at 275lbft.

thats fair enough mate but like i said i'd prefer a sachs kit :embarrassed: i thought i heard somewhere that theyre longer lasting? i may be wrong but i've got my heart set on one now and it'll take a while to convince me otherwise lol some may call it stubborn

I bought saches g60 conversion kit from eBay only been on car 12months and it's now slipping ; ( and My car is standard beware of seller techniclutch

Definitely a sachs clutch plate bullzeye?
A well tuned map and knowing how to drive will treat ANY clutch well...unless its cheap sh!te.

Was all genuine so I was told vr6 g60 Sachs
-
did it not come with the certificate? and if its the ebay one i think your on about then there should be a 2 year warranty on the kit as well? :undecided:
