Any i phone wizards on here i need help just been given an i phone 4 basically some one has tried to restore the phone in i-tunes and its threw an error up and spat its dummy out and now the phone just has the connect to i-tunes symbol on it tried numerous times to restore using i-tunes but always just as its finishing the restore up pops an error tried restoring it through most of the jail breaking software i,e red snow ,snowbreeze ,ect also tried with tiny umbrella
The main error as below but some times -1 error
The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194)
is there any other program i can try

Dont know much about the phone itself, But what i do know is of you take it to a apple shop, they will replace if for a new unit free of charge, Just tell them its fooked...

Sounds more like someone tried to jailbreak it & cocked it up or it was jailbroken already & and update caused the error.
Try deleting any ispw files on your computer & then try plug it in via usb lead & restore.

I don't know the history of the phone nor do i have any receipt i am unsure if it has been jail broken in the past and this is the cause of the fault not sure if they would just replace it ?

Thats the problem i dont know if it has been jail broken and thats why its fooked up i have tried it on two separate computers deleted ispw's and i-tunes re-installed i-tunes same fault

Possibly bricked then, does sound like a jailbreak gone wrong to be honest.
try follow the steps on here will possibly help ?
