hi,i have just recently gone from mk2 8v to a 16v and am not happy with the performance, thinking on changing the injection for 40s can anyone advise me on this?

Try driving it about 1000 rpm above how you used to drive your 8v! ;)

I drove Mod's 16v recently and its no slower low down than a 8v. Looks like your engine isn't running sweet :-\

'golf vr6' is right. I have had 3 8v's and 2 16v's and i'd say overal the 16v's are quicker. Its a completely different way of driving though, you need to be brutal with the 16v to get it to go (but that is what i liked about it).

yes, driving in & around 4k rpm and its nothing out of the ordinary
rev the nuts of it and you see a different car totally

thrash your car like a ginger step child
it's the only language a valve understands.
