Title: Dot 5.1....

Just after an ickle bit of advice really.

I got the moisture content checked in my brake fluid today and it was at 1.9%. That's after 12,000 miles of pretty tame use and after 8 months on the road. The fluid used last time was 'AP Racing' and it would be interesting to hear your opinions on other brands, as I may well change for another brand if there's a chance that I could eek out a few more miles.

Toyota brake fluid is now dot 5.1 and its life span is 2years /20k . If you want some ill even post you a bottle or two if you pay the postage  :nerd:

Wouldn't turn my nose up at that fella. Is it Carlube or Valvoline? And I know I'm being pedantic here but you wouldn't happen to have photo of said brake fluid?

Really appreciate your kind offer and of course I'd pay postage and for the goods  :smiley:

That's cool , I work in a main dealer Toyota its genuine stuff
