Had me 1990 16v rolling road tuned today, and after a little tweet came back at 146.5 hp was quite pleased for a standard set-up. The car has done 165000 but the engine has done 115000 so for an old car she can still hold her own even showing up a few fat mk3 and mk4's

115k on a bottom end is just breaking in mileage lol
good figures though on an otherwise std car

Quite glad I didn't bother with the stainless manifold. Now she's running sweet not sur what to do now. Might get around to using the rainbow spare cloth iv got to repair my drivers seat.

146! isn't that about 10 more than it should have! :lipsrsealed:

If you want a bit of induction noise. Take the base of the airbox out and then take the snorkel out of the base of the airbox, it pulls out via the front of the airbox. Stick base back in and away ya go
what where the torque figures on your rr plot
-
Didn't get toque figures just performance
-
Well technically you didn't get performance. You just got a figure saying what power it "could" produce.
BHP is just a number without a NM figure.
-
Ultimately not really that bothered, just pleased runs, starts lovely, idles lovely for £60 well pleased just looking forward to driving it in the morning. That's all I really ever wanted.
-
Exactly. The car is proven to be in good health and thats all you want.
Rr figures are used as a guide for your car should you then modify it, everything else is just pub talk
