Can I ask why you would want to?

Because its there if you want too?

And i like symmetry
Twos better than one

Not when it comes to twin fogs, as some people mistake them for brakelights.
It's as simple as connecting the two with a single lead wire, as the earth is already plumbed in.

With Lewy on this, one fog light is safer than two, especially when they are in such close proximity to the brake lights, you run more risk of someone running into the back of you... car written off, but the symmetry was good :lipsrsealed:

If you can see the car behind you, he can see you as well, so you should be turning your rear fog light off anyway.
He's not going to be following you thinking "that Golf looks cool with symmetrical fog lights"

You would be surprised the amount of people who still run there front fogs when its not even foggy just because they think its cool!

how does 'twin' rear fogs make more chance of someone running into the back of you? do people behind speed up when they see what looks like brake lights on a mk2?

Fog lights are high intensity, and make it harder to distinguish whether the brakes have been applied, especially as they are so close to the brake lights, the single fog light was done for safety, not aesthetics, generally cars fitted with twin fog lights usually have some distance between fog and brake lights

They shouldn't see your rear fogs if they are close enough to run into you, as you should have turned then off by then.
