Title: Brake fluid help?!
Post by: drc12369 on 11 November 2012, 20:50
Hi, could someone post a pic of the brake fluid reservoir? I think its the one top left. If so mines just below min. As a cheap option can i just open it and pour new dot4 fluid in? As u can see i dont have the skill for a bleed, flush and change.

Yes it's top left and its fine to top up. But it's only low because your pads have worn down. Just fill it to the mark

Cheers. Ill fill it first, then fit the new rear pads the week after. So im guessing the red antifreeze goes in the big clear bowl on the right with the blue screw cap then? Best i do that too.

Doesn't matter if your just topping up.

Fill to the minimum mark.
