Depends on the styling really,  ive still got mine fitted as  i couldnt arsed with swapping the rear screen to lose the mounting holes so it'll be getting a coat of paint at some point as im sick of the skanky weathered plastic look.

Good if you swap the hatch with no holes/bungs in the glass  :cool:

Thats the thing, the holes even if I put plugs in them jst looks sh!t

If you remove it then it only looks good with a base model screen without holes.

Mine had a spoiler, screen got smashed so i got the screen with no holes in :cool:

I took the spoiler and wiper off my old gti and put the rubber bungs in, seemed a good idea at the time as it looks smooth but soon got bored of it. Ive kept them on the new one now and leaving it be.

Yeah I did that too, same as you I soon got bored, painted spoiler to get rid of that old grey look and stuck it back on
