Title: What are we all doing to our motors this weekend?
Post by: drc12369 on 09 November 2012, 19:14
Exactly what it says on the tin, what work are we doing or getting done to our mk3's this weekend?
Mines getting washed n valeted, im fixing the broken glovebox handle, replacing a dash blank, finally putting in a cigarette lighter, fitting new brembo rear brake pads, removing the loose back box heat protector  and painting the sills with rust converter.
So what are you guys doing?

I'm going to fill it full of rubble and plaster ready to dump in the skip at work on Monday, think it needs some petrol too.

Started spraying grill yellow and paint can nozzle broke (PRETTY GUTTED) so I need to order more paint when I get wages, £20 a can is a killer bit perfect match to my paint work :)

Pmsl, dont feel too bad lads everyone on my facebook haas said they look like bullet casings and Kells thinks ive been out on a driveby shooting lol.

They are Valve guides that go in the head to.well.guide the valve.
The other parts are a godsend and if i couldnt have got them,as nowhere in europe does them,i would have had to scrap my vr6t block im building up lol. They are intermediate shaft bearings for the oil pump drive :)
