Title: new member help!!! problems starting golf gti 2001

help can any one help have 2 litre golf gti 2001.have problems now and again with starting all lights on dash work ,lights radio etc, but when u turn the key nothin........prevouisley have left for say 10 mins and has started 1 st time.this time all day nothin!!???.may be imoboliser kickin in when it shouldnt?but the imboliser light on dash goes out.was told may be startin moter did the usual rockin thing nothin!! can some 1 please help as its becoming unreliable and costley..dumb blond ha :smiley:

Might be worth posting your question(s) in the garage or MK4 section as this is a welcome section and not everyone visits here so your more likely to get better responses in those respective sections...
