Title: Golf mk3 seats in a Audi a3 8L

Hiya everyone this is my first post and i know this is all about our beloved Golf's but mine let me down today as my reverse gear has shattered :undecided: ... anyway that's my problem
Wanted to know if with some modification you can fit golf mk3 seats in a 1999 Audi a3 8L ?

With modifications most seats can fit most cars. ide imagine dimention wise theyd fit. i.e the seats not bigger than the car maybe have to weld the a3 subframes on. however i think they may have simelar subframes but not sure.

Thanks man, hoping to get my mk3 fixed  :wink: but if i can't i'm going to have to roll in an audi a3 for a bit :undecided:
