Evening all
I know this is a well worn subject but couldn't find the answer.
The rear passenger side footwell is soaked again. When I open the door the rims are covered in puddles. I've tried squeezing the nipples and clearing the rubber runs but no luck. The area around the sun roof is dry. The water seems to be collecting quite badly.
Any ideas please would be great.
Thanks in advance

theres a tray above the pollen filter, take it out and give it a clear out. mine split and dumped water down the blower motor housing, soaking the floors. hope that helps

I had a leak in my drivers seat saturday night.....
....I'd parked up, was busting for a piss and had an empty drinks bottle.

butyl strip from the bay and a dihumidifier for 24 hours

Thank you. How do I do this?

Thank you. Do I need to pull the existing rubber seals off?

Also the water seems to be coming up from underneath the carpet.

take off the rubber thing that goes the width of the scuttle. undo the 2 screws and wiggle the tray like youve never wiggled before and itll come out exposing the pollen filter. see if its wet or not, it might have dried out by now. give the whole area a good clean just in case. this would be a good chance to change the pollen filter. as for it seeming to come up through the carpets, if it coming in where mine did it will seem to do this. i had a puddle in my rear foot well!

+1 best thing t do is take the whole car door panel and inner panel off, give a good clean, then butyl everything. the carpets im gonna dry with the dihumidiator n then get a damp bag put on my dash every night t stop misty windows in the mornings
