hi, my battery keeps going flat, but only when its really cold outside
anyone come across this before, dont wanna buy another battery if its not that lol
thanks
-
pretty much standard on any car, once you hit winter with cold mornings you find your
battery is just not good enough anymore.
If your alternator is fine, then new battery time.
-
Mine was flat after my holiday, charged her up, seemed ok for a couple of week, temperature dropped below 0°C and it collapaed.
As said above, pretty standard thing.
If in doubt, get it tested.

It's not really a standard thing unless your battery isn't well kept.
Short journeys will do this as the altenator/charging circuit can't put enough charge in, as the charging rate is very slow aswel as power being used by the car at the same time, so your battery will never be fully charged - unlike plugging it into a proper charger which will have a deeper charge rate.
-
the alternator output is too high
-
get a new battery = sorted

motor factors replaced my battery under warranty last week
