Title: Best Bulbs
Post by: Sam on 05 November 2012, 20:26
Winter sucks, its dark and I do a lot of long distances both at night and in the morning before the old gal rises. So... best bulbs to replace my slightly yellow poopy standard bulbs in the audi a4 b5

Someone mentioned Osram night breakers to me the other day... are they good?

I had phillips before I bought my xenons and they where a massive improvement on the candle bulbs before and the osram's are meant to be as good. About £30 a pair a couple years ago.

Osram seem to have longevity issues so I may go Philips

So I walk into a shop and ask for a new lamp and you think they are going to take me to the bulb section?

For actual Xeon bulbs - you don't get much better than Philips 85122+

For halogen bulbs - Philips X-treme Power

Just make sure you get genuine of either, there is tonnes of fakes floating around the bay.
