What's the biggest size alloys you can fit on a Mk4 w/ low prof's?

Cheers!

without arch mods.. 19's are no problem with the right rubber.

Well would you recommend getting 19's or would it be too much of a squeeze?

How would you rate them compared to 18's?

Mine is lowered on 18's and looks cool, 19's are sweet, but you gotta think of the cost to replace rubber too :undecided:

What tyres do you guys feels comfortable with? Lots of speculation out there, lots of different tempting deals on ebay for alloys+rubber kits, but no idea what to get...

sorry to hijack this link a bit......i am currently using pirelli p6000 and have no compaints on my standard "16 mk 4 alloys. however, am considering upgrading to 18" myself and thinking about getting the 5-spoke Audi RS6 style alloys, have found them on internet for £380 alloys only and £899 with Goodyear F1 tyres. hard to find such good tyres at much less than this so am thinking about this £899 deal. Does anyone currently run either the RS6 style alloy or the Goodyear F1 and have any advice?? spending big chunks of cash like this makes me nervous ha ha.....also i think the tyres come in various off-set positions and i know virtually nothing about that !! any advice very welcome.  many thanks.
