Title: Wheel question

Ok guys just got the wife a mk3 golf that needs two new tyres now I have a set of 18s sat in the shed with brand new tyres will they fit without any arch mods if not whats the biggest you can go the car isn't lowered or anything and don't think it will ever be thanks for any help guys

Probably not...

You can squeeze 18s on, with 215/35/18 tyres and wheels around 7.5" wide with a very specific offset...but in reality, 18s are just too big to fit.

Ok cheers buddy that's the size of tyre I have lol they ent fitted yet but would they go on with no messing just for now lol

I had similar problem. Standard car with cracked tyres. Just needed a mot but the standard suspension shock sat on top of the tyre.
