also issue with the headlights at the moment, and dont think its the bulb..
sidelight works on passenger but dipped and full beam dont, put the bulb in the other side and it lights up fine ... any suggestions on issue?
OH yea and that does mean the car is working now ;)
-
I've got the same issue with my lights, although both dims work, yet only 1 bright works and all of the bulbs are working fine when I test them.
-
Check your fuse box/relays.....I've had loads of issues like this with mine I tests the switch and it was fine. I have managed to trAck it down to the fuse box and I think it's a duff relay as it now works fine if I give the fuse box a tap with my foot! Not a fix I know but narrows the fault down. My problem was all lights working just no flashrs/main beam

Hi
try putting new bulbs in, and if that dont make a difference, clean all the earth points
I cleaned mine and it made my headlights really bright, so i would say clean them too...
-
try some of these bulbs, just put em in mine. such an improvement, so bright

100w bulbs are illegal, 55w are road legal, it may fail next M.O.T, if the tester picks up on it, or even worse if you get pulled by a traffic officer who knows His shyt...
-
yeah i know, got a spare set of 55w xenons too just incase...
-
Also 100w bulbs will put alot of strain on, wiring/fuses & relays as they were not designed to power 100w bulbs,
And 100w bulbs don't last long compared to 55w

f all diffrence with 55w & 100w (well thats what i say as i had them on my car)
i got a headlight relay kit for sale.
pm me if anyone interested
-
what does one of them fings do
-
basically just makes your head lights brighter without going the hid route. kit has relays & all that to make the lights brighter
-
plus it blinds the hell out of drivers like me who are going the other way. i get so tired driving home and my eyes really hurt. please dont use the 100w bulbs. almost had an accident the other day :(
