Ok my central locking stopped working today. Any known problems to go straight for or have i really got to go through all those vacum pipes??
-
check pump and fuse and mater switch in drivers door then vacum pipes
-
if the pump is making a noise then WD4- is ya mate spray a mist over the tubes and joints see if youve sprung a leak if not then pumps likely had its day.
-
Check all your fuses first then start looking inside the drivers door for problems.
-
you can operate the pump by hand this will tell you if its the pump or the accuator in the door
-
Without sounding dippy.... mine has packed up as well recently, how can you activate it manually?
-
sorry to hijack :P mine semi-works, albeit very very slowly. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a sticky pump sesterfield its in the boot in a polystyrene box have a look at it and click the boot catch over and see if it moves freely when you lock the car.
