Title: ABT side skirts that match VR6 lip
Post by: robjackson on 02 November 2012, 14:39: Has anyone seen or know of the sill *COVERS from ABT that are more-or-less matching to the deep VR6 style front lip on mk3 golf?

Thought i saw them on a PVW cover var way back perhaps.

Iv seen some nice deep chunky blocky straight up+down ones that are reminicent of the VR6 lip

The ones iv seen were straight, and chunky, no curves or twists.
They were rounded over across the top edge, and curved under at the bottom so they dont look sharp or boxy.
Really suited the cars clean grown-up lines

Anybody caught buying bodykits and bumpers from this website should be shot on sight!

How can anyone think anything offered here would improve the look of their golf?

All the ones iv seen here have a twist or a contour here'n'there.
Just want some blocky ones that cover up the textured sill and rough edged seam.
I'll give it another wk or so then sack it. Or use plain looking vw ones and maybe smooth out the pressing marks n'that

Cabby ones are not covers, the cabbys in the states have a different sill, it's all metal. A la...

I do like the optikwerks ones but would love to see a set in the flesh before I purchase, textured of course.

Then I have the sills done and now have nothing, just the painted metal.

But those look of interest so maybe changing my mind.
