I'm trying to fit a forge TIP but I can find away of getting it on the car. I've tried taking the turbo off and fitting it, but my problem is there is a hard coolant line that is in the way so I cant get the turbo back on with the TIP fitted. How did you lot get them on?
Cheers

God,this brings back memories of watching 2 machanics trying to fit my TIP
apparantly, you can slightly slacken that coolant line just enough to squeeze the TIP into place.apparantly!
im assuming your going at it from under the car?
good luck,im sure someone way more skillfull with the spanners than me will advise you

yeah do it with turbo on, slightly slacken water line, slip it down fron the top then gey under to get it onto turbo.......... is very tight!!!

I managed to do it by cutting the end of the pipe down
Still was a bugger tho

You should be able to 'slot' it in place, try get the top to sit on the turbo then slide the bottom on. It is one of them diddly things sometimes it pops in first try and it's done in a couple of minutes start to finish other times you could be there for an hour if it doesn't play ball. But essentially there is enough space with the coolant line to the heater matrix in place.
Fortunately for me I don't have coolant lines to contend with.

I spent around 5 minutes trying to get the coolant line out of the way, then tried about 4 times from the top and it didnt play ball, and on the last attempt it just slid on, lots of cursing was done
if it went on first time I would have been done in 10 minutes
