Hi
I'm on my third Golf now in 7 years owning a Mk2 Driver bought as an emergency car when my old Peugeot 104 S died on a patients driveway. And l never looked back. Only sold that brilliant car for a Mk3 GTi because the GTi was cheap and as l was no longer a student nurse l thought 'oh why not'. Sadly it got killed by a crazy woman a year later on the way to hand in my uniform when l left work. In the end l bought a Mk3 Ragtop because it was there and the GTi's lack of sunroof was annoyed me. And l have to say the ragtop is my second favourite car I've owned to date. The first has to go to 5 trouble free years in the Mk2.
l spend all my time mainly with the aircooled stuff having my own bus and a little sideline servicing and repairing them but that doesn't stop me appreciating the wonders of the Golf.
My current ride:

My previous GTi :(

And the Golf that started it all.

And the bus we all call Barry.
