I have a samsumg s2 and am trying to play my music through the aux in cable. It just comes up on screen Device without function. Any help. Cheers

AFAIK it won't play that through the MDI. The only phone I've ever had working that way is the iphone. All other phones don't communicate with it. Bluetooth would be your best bet.
Depending on what head unit you have get yourself a SD Card or USB MP3 player / hard drive to play your songs.

If it's the Aux in it should play like any mp3 player, make sure you've got the aux active in the settings and when your playing music from the phone select aux in the media section. SHOULD work. :whistle:
