Title: My MFA reads 99.9/99.8 for fuel consumption all the time.

Any ideas why this might be happening?  ???

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, as the rest of the computer functions seem to work perfectly.

It sounds like the rubber hose on the back of the speedo pod has come off.
Pull out you speedo and have a look, failing this, look for other vacuum leaks!
