hey guys,
i've got a black gti and want some new alloys as quite frankly i'm bored of the one's that are still on from when i bought the car. basically i'm finding it so hard to decide what to go for and am just wondering if people could recommend some that would suit it. Keep asking myself if i want TT comps, monza mk5 gti's, some sort of black bbs'..
hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppp
any pics would help too!

Monzas belong on a mk5...and even then they look bad.
Black BBS CH's would look sweet on a mk4.
TT comps are not my cup of tea...Fat fives however

also guys what's the biggest i can go without any extra work? 17" or 18"?

18s came standard on the R32 and Anni so you won't need any work for them. I don't even think you need to do anything put 19s on but wouldn't in the interest of comfort

im going to get some santa monicas in the near future

Sorry mate. I am a real advocate of the Monza wheel! Me and it just don't see eye to eye!

What about something like this, but maybe in 18'' if you want them that big?

I also think these look pretty cool, plus they do them in silver -

hmmm not a mahoosive fan of either of those, but cheers anyway.
i was liking the BBS idea before i saw how much they were lol.

No worries, mate. Alloys are a very personal thing anyway.
BTW: BBS are my favourite rims too, especially 'cross-spokes'.

sorry to but in lads i was just wondering if deep dish alloy wheels would cause any rubbing if the car was lowered? and whats the ideal distance to lower a car without it being smashed up by speed bumps? haha
