www.the-ace.org.uk
Useful organisation for info on upcoming legislation the will affect our Sport/Hobby.
Looks like there is some new rules/laws similar to Europe's coming through the backdoor.
Will post some other links later when I find them as there is a petition and a letter format to send off to your MP and MEP.

Again? You sure this isn't the stuff that was dismissed a few weeks ago?

Custom Car magazine say there is a real danger!
Only passing on what I have read.

This months issue of Custom Car. They seem very concerned about it.
The threat may not be imminent this Association has noticed a shift in the beauracrates method.
Not had chance to look at all the details yet, just thought it was worth a thread.

Lol.
Our friend Kev sits on the ACE and hasn't posted up on manky monkey motors about anything since the last lot of stuff.
Still, it is sh!t that won't seem to go away.

Well I joined their Forum today and must say it is rather confusing!
There are letters from MEP's one saying it will never happen and another saying its time for letter writing and making a fuss!
So if people who should be in the know are not certain what chance do we have?
Personally I see this as a potential threat and will be using the letter template and think that everybody here should do the same. It will be too late to do anything about it next year when it does become law!

Speak for yourself - the rest of us aren't nearly as old as you and probably intend driving for significantly longer.

If I follow my Dad I have at least 30 years driving ahead of me!
The company I work for is continually consulted by the Government on Transport policy and new ideas and potential schemes.
The more I hear the worse it sounds for us car drivers.

Avoid buying new cars then.
