EDIT: When I checked after work today 23/10/2012 I found that all 5 bolts where loose!! Tightened them up, problem fixed.
I noticed yesterday a strange clicking/tapping noise while driving, its as if there is something stuck to a wheel and everytime the wheel goes around it hitting the mudflap the noise isnt that noticeable when you speed up only when your at slow speed and I havent been able to hear it in reverse.
Now the only thing I have remotely done near any of the wheels is I have recently fitted mudflaps (the day before) and I have removed the rear wheels to fit them.
I have had a look around, nothing seems loose, and I cannot see anything on any of the wheels. the sounds appeares to be coming from the rear passenger side of the car?
Someone has suggested this could be my driveshaft?
Any ideas would be a great help.

I found this video, mine is similar to this but seems to be coming fromt he rear from what I can tell.

The video seems to suggest CV joint?

Unless you have a 4motion? And your sure the noise is coming from the back, it wont be a cv joint, driveshaft! However cv joints do.click at lowspeeds when there worn as ive just replaced mine

It certainly seems like its coming from the backend of the car however I know sound can travel im so confused.

have you thoroughly checked the tyre? could be a stone or even a nail.

Im going to remove the wheel when I get home from work tonight, Im getting really worried now the drive to work this morning was fine but that noise was concerning me, I find it strange how I do not hear it in reverse, and It defo sounds like its coming from the rear passenger side.
I find it strange how I never had this problem until I removed the rear wheels to fit my mudflaps....
