Title: Should all mk4's come with flip key fobs?

Hi All,

I know that keys get mislaid etc but what is the rule regarding the above?

No, the early mk4s never had a flip key as far as I've seen :)

My 1999 mk4 has a flip key fob but the early ones didn't have a boot unlock button just unlock/lock keys

My mates S reg wasn't a flip key just a nornal and my 53 reg doesnt have a boot unluck button..CONFUSED.  :laugh:

Mine just came with a standard key, it had central locking but it could only be used my putting the key in the door.
You can get it wired up so that it locks / unlocks by remote fob.
