Title: golf boot lock

a freind texted me saying his car unlock with remote the doors but wont open the boot. he has to use the key to unlock. what possible could be the problem

mine was the little black clip that came off  :smiley:

there isnt much else it can be other than the clip especially if the motor is moving / making a noise
