Title: how easy to change DP yearly for MOT?
Post by: paultownsend on 19 October 2012, 19:33
as above, and legal issues aside.

looking at getting the toyosport DP/decat. how easy is it swop over once a year for the MOT?

my main concern would be the turbo studs.

im running an AGU so only one lambda to worry about.

at £90 it would be rude not to!

on a ramp itll be 15 mins tops......

you will soon know when you put it on the first time if you wanna keep swappin it but it doesnt take too long, if you got the tools and ramp

Check out Hurdys old ED30 project thread

He had something knocked up whereby he could remove the cat himself. Think he had a system of clamps holding it in place

EDIT - its not in his project thread but he definitely did something along those lines

I was just about to suggest something along those lines.

If I were to purchase a sports cat. Magnaflow etc. How restrictive are they compared to a decat? ( stupid question alert)
