Title: Fitting Downpipes..just wanna get back on the road... HELP!

Hi

Ok trying to fit my downpipes to my Mk2 8v GTI 1990. its the one with the 6 studs.. Just cant get it back up through the hole.. just doesnt seem to be enough room.

ANy advice welcome.

Dont know about the 8v but on the 16v its a good idea to drop the engine bed a little to gain room.

You might need to get the car up higher in the air to get the right angle.
