Right..... I got a 4pin unit, nearly replaced my entire house wit LED bulbs except having trouble with my 2D one in the bathroom. You have your typical wires coming in, then going to ballast. Ballast unit has 4 female pins, new led unit as 4pin and a ballast built into it, meaning the two will not join together due to ballast unit...
I have spare female crimps so I could remove ballast and rebuild unit, however I do not have a monkey what supply is required to any of the 4 pins, as usual, no manual and nothing google wants to help with. Item description on flee bay says I need to remove ballast.

Any help is appreciated

LEDs
So let's get this right. Are you replacing the 2D fitting? Or looking to replace only what's inside the fitting? Got photos?

Basically in the current fitting the lamp mount and ballast are together. Like so:

Led light looks like this at the back (as you can see it has its own ballast with transformer and starter...):

The two won't join together as ballasts get in the way of each other, I can modify the the first ballast and shop the box off so only the 4 pins are exposed, if I do this I am guessing two pins need a neutral and live supply, but I'm guessing it has to be on specific pins which I do not no, usually you get a mini adapter like so (you can see on the left the female adapter, again if I had this what pins do the lives and neutral go to or doesn't it matter?):

Sorted it, found this:

Took old ballast out, trimmed it down, rewired 4 pins without ballast and wollah! Would help if they supplied you with shizzle, at first I thought ahhhhh fudge it didn't work as it took 10seconds to turn on, now it turns on instantly, chuffed but what a pain in the a$$ way of doing things.
