Title: are my front shocks worn?

Had the car in the garage today to change the coil springs, and after they were changed the man that changed them says the front shocks are worn, oil is coming out of them and need replaced, But when i tried to do one of the checks (bouncing the car up and down) it seemed fine and bounced once and went back to its normal position. is there any other checks i could possibly do?

see if theres any sign of them leaking.
