Ok, had a low air flow fault on the Maf so replaced Bosch for Bosch from GSF yesturday, and cleared the
fault code after fitting.
Today popped out for a spin and the traction control light came on so plugged the vagcom in
and still got Maf low air flow fault?
Any quick fix or something i have forgot to do?
Do i need to change my pipeacross panel filter (12mths old)
thanks

Sounds like you have an air leak, Check the requested MAF against the actual MAF,
Can't remember what measuring block. 32 seems to ring a bell?
The low MAF reading is most likely unmetered air entering somewhere after the MAF.
Check the pipes under the manifold, The car I was working on kept flagging the same code.
2 of the pipes had completely perished and had holes in.
We also replaced the injector seals, Top and bottom and the inlet manifold gasket.
Solved the issues we were having.
One thing to find out, Is the Bosch MAF from GSF a recon unit or new?
I know the recon units are not that great and can cause issues. We found this out the hard way, however our bosch MAF's came from EuroParts.

If its a recon one itll have a yellow arrow and a red arrow pulling away from each other if that makes sense

It is a recon one, i got the yellow/red arrows your talking about. i cancelled the fault on vagcom again
on Wed as im doing 12hr shifts and wont have time to look for air leaks until Tue. Its now Fri and the fault
code has not returned. Hoping the replacement just needed to settle in
Thanks for the support anyways

it needs to be a pretty big leak for that code, either intercooler hose popped off or the one down the back of the engine with the rubbish clip design

Wow, its funny you should mention that as i changed oil and filter on the same day and while under the car i found the pipe with the crapy clip at the back had slightly dislodged so i just popped it back in again.
Maybe i have already cured it.

Thanks again all.
