Title: red trim for sides above door trim mouldings?

Anyone know where i can get the red trims that sit above the side door mouldings? Its for an 88 8v with the thicker mouldings. VW say that any red trimmed items bumpers, grills etc are no longer available even on back order so need some help.

Chrome would be easy to get, the red is a pain in the a55

I got something similar from Halfords a couple of years ago after having a respray. It wasn't exactly the same but most people wouldn't be able to tell.

Ive just removed my red stripe, and it was a right bugger to do halfway through we wished we hadnt started :rolleyes:
