Title: HDR pictures
Post by: rockmonkey69 on 17 October 2012, 13:50
Thought it would be nice to have a compilation of HDR images of the mk4 in a single thread. Feel free to post you pictures and if possible the name of the app used.

Here are my attempts using iPhone app dynamic light

Dynamic light works on existing pictures so you don't even need to take new pictures. All of the above were taken just over a year ago.

I have no idea what HDR is, and why would you need to clean your car?  :undecided:

It looks a natural shade of brown right now rather than silver lol

Brown is the new white  as white was the new black

HDR is high dynamic range, a HDR picture is made by combining different exposures of the same picture, normally 3 - underexposed, overexposed and normal. I believe that's the gists of the idea anyway.
Come on everyone chip in! Let's get an all mk4 themed HDR thread going. It's not restricted only to pictures made in an iPhone app, it can be HDR'ed in photoshop and other photo editing packages too!

I have no idea what I am doing but I downladed an app and had a go.

Think I've got it completely wrong though?

Turbo upgrade

Chop chop  And when you're dong with that, you can start a build thread instead of teasing us all with previews all the time :)

I'll be running mine in on Monday with any luck.

I really need to get a start, it just looks like a daunting task as I have pictures on an array of different devises and accounts so need to sit down one day and sort through them. I have only myself to blame as I've left it to accumulate for so long  :undecided:

did you end up getting your footwell clean after the coke bottle problem? :)

I managed to remove the majority of stains but it took alot of elbow grease. It was down right dangerous when the coke had dried on the window/windscreen leaving a film that made poor visibility that night even worse. Fortunately I managed to wipe it down at the nearest service station.

I had to drain the car and scrub down every inch of the interior, I dread to imagine what the process would involve for those with full interior.
